So what's the concern here?
Patients with neurodegenerative and respiratory diseases/conditions are often assigned breathing excercises using incentive spirometers. However these spirometry devices are oftentimes not enkoyable to use, leading to low patient compliance to these therapy programs.
And how was this intended to be addressed?
MedRhythms focuses on neurologic music therapy, so my team decided to develop a sprirometry device that utilizes music in order to make the spirometry device more engaging and compatible with music entrainment therapy.
